Shakespeare Schools Festival


Over the past three years, our drama students have participated in the Shakespeare Schools festival. This festival, the UK’s largest youth drama festival, is designed to give 35,000 young people from all over the country the opportunity to perform Shakespeare on a professional stage in their local areas.

In October 2014, a group of our Year 10 students performed ‘The Comedy of Errors’ at the Churchill Theatre. The performance was a huge success and the students had a brilliant time both rehearsing and performing.

In October 2015 a mixture of 25 students from years 10, 11 and 12 performed  ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley; the show was wonderful and we are immensely proud of all participating students. We were even contacted by the festival’s director, Johnny Tyndall to congratulate us on such a great performance!
